    The Affordable Housing Act 2024

    An act of Parliament to give effect to Article 43(1)(b) of the Constitution; to provide a framework for development and access to affordable housing and institutional housing; and for connected purposes. This Act may be cited as the Affordable Housing Act, 2024 and shall come into operation as follows− (a)on the date of assent, section 4 and 5; (b)all other sections, on such date as may be prescribed by the Cabinet Secretary by notice in the Gazette.
